We will provide: your BHH 2013 team jersey, water, bananas, lunch on the field.
There will be a few shaded areas on the field to hide from the sun / rain in between games. There’s also a canteen on-site in case you want to buy extra food / drinks as well as other vendors.
What else can I do to prepare for the tournament? Read. The. Rules.
If you remember nothing, remember the Spirit of the Game: things like calling yourself out when you’re out. Not calling a score if you caught it outside the endzone, and above all – be competitive, but have fun!
Don’t forget, you can congratulate your opponent when they score on you. And at all times be respectful to other players. No arguments are needed. The rules are simple: if a foul is contested, it goes back to the thrower. Game on.
One team with the most outstanding spirit will win the coveted Spirit Award. It’s not just about the games you play afterwards, or the cheers, but also how you call fouls and deal with fouls called on you.
Other than that, you are what you are for this tournament. Make the most of it, have fun and learn as much as you can.
