Sabah is always hot, so we can play whatever the weather. Therefore, rain or shine in Borneo, Sabah’s Ultimate players are more than likely out on the field or the beach playing Ultimate with few cancelled sessions.
We welcome anybody to join us. If you’ve never played before, all we ask is that you read at least the 10 Basic Rules of Ultimate before you come, and that you arrive early so that we can show you the basics of throwing and defense. That way everybody will enjoy the session.

Beach Ultimate Pick-up
Location: 1st Beach, Tanjung Aru
Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays
Time: 18:00 – 20:00
Our beach sessions are informal affairs as we play barefoot on the beach. We do not play beach Ultimate, but rather Ultimate on the beach. The only difference is that our playing field size is determined by the tide and participant attendance, but for the rest WFDF rules apply. There are shops nearby.
T2 Sunday Pick-up
Location: Rugby/Football Field, Terminal 2, Low Cost Terminal, KK Airport
Days: Sunday
Time: 16:00 – 18:00
Our Sunday Pick-up games are a little more structured and marginally more competitive. We often manage a standard, or near-standard playing field with 7-aside games. The field is in relatively good shape, with the odd, minor indentation. There are no shops nearby, so bring water / sunscreen as required.
T2 Saturday Skills Training
Location: Rugby Field, Terminal 2, Low Cost Terminal, KK Airport
Days: Saturday
Time: Current at 09:30 – 10:30
Our Skills Training Sessions are held on Saturday and depending on who can attend at what time, the time moves between the mornings and afternoons. Join the Ultimate Frisbee Sabah Facebook group, or our mailing list, to stay on top of when this particular session takes place. We’ll maybe play short games during these sessions, but focus is on skills and fitness.
